on invitations and rsvp

i honestly don't understand why some people do not respond to invitations. when an important event is to be held, normally the host sends out invites to inform the people concerned of the said affair. may it be sent thru formal invitation cards, e-invites, or even just thru a text message, an inivitation should be honored, thus the favor of a reply is expected.

you are invited primarily because you are an important person, and being that, the host wants to share with you that special moment --this, you should realize. thus, the option of not going should not be entertained, or you do not say you're tired or just having a bad day. save your lame excuses mister! you should learn how to value. in some circumstances though, say your schedule does not permit you, the host will truly understand if you cant't go. the word here is, you should inform ahead. you see, your slot has a price. meaning, the host spends for you, you become part of the budget and you don't like it when your resources are put to waste, do you?

so there, the biggest favor we can ever extend is to learn to respond to invitations. it saves us the money, the effort, and the expectations. today, you're a guest... tomorrow, you become the host. and who wants empty parties? remember, what goes around comes around.

my husband edgar, at 27, becomes the youngest filipino chief mate for kgjs. sounds good... pays even better! hahaha this is the biggest news for us this 2012, yet. he waited for this break to come, and finally the call came. they say everything is in God's perfect time, and rightfully so. the promotion came right when edgar was well-rested as this vacation didn't mean he had to go to trainings and attend school. he spent all his time with the family and the company of good friends. you see, the position entails a lot of dedication and hardwork because the job description is just crazzzzzy, thus the need for a good rest and recreation before going back to the grind. and even more good news, his contract is now fixed at 10weeks on and 10weeks off.. that means i won't be missing him for too long from now on :) congratulations babe! well deserved, chief!

hey there blogger! months passed and i have not posted an entry, or even just a visit to my dashboard.    i don't know, but it felt like i have nothing sensible to write about, or i just lost my thoughts. maybe more on the latter. and i know that's sad. thus, im up to this blog again. the primary reason why i created this page is to have an avenue for my thoughts, exercise the brain cells in me and share the life i have. so there, expect regular posts from me here on blogger. thank you for the patience and time. (naks naman! para namang may readers ako. hahahah) all the nonsense talks i do, the people i get to spend time with, the things i enjoy, the feelings inside, the ups and down, and what not, you'll read it all here. yayyyy! till my next blog post.... *wink*
