bellini

going out to a bigger city always means having to indulge in sumptuous dishes i am so deprived to have in this small city of ours. so whenever im in cebu, my second place to home, i always see to it that i eat all my favorites, and try something new. for this recent cebu trip i had, me and my dear friend, maricel, had to experience dining at bellini together. the restaurant created a lot of buzz lately, with their mediterranean  cuisine, you can never go wrong. plus the ambiance overlooking the scenic lights of the city, it just completes the overall dining experience.

actually, anzani is the fine dining restaurant, while bellini is the champagne bar --located alongside each other. but since the restaurant was full when we got there, we were accommodated at bellini. rightfully, we liked it there since we had an outdoor dining in mind.

i had a hard time picking out what to order. they have a varied
selection on their menu -- from fish and seafood, to poultry,
to lamb chops, duck breast, to US beef.

we had these awesome buns as complimentary food while
waiting for our orders. i loved how the bread blended with the
dip in the middle, tasted tomato but with a lot more flavor.

i had this. yellow fin tuna fillet in rockford creamy sauce paired
with steamed seasonal vegetable.  --DIVINE!!!

notice how red the grilled fish was. it was done so right, the
freshness and tenderness of the tuna was perfectly there.
the eating experience was... scrumptious!

my friend had this. whole squid in green pepper corn sauce
with vegetable ratatouille. i was able to try it, and boy it
was by far the best squid ive had, so soft and juicy!

us. enjoying the cebu skyline at night in comfortable sofas,
with feel good acoustic music on the background.
