My christmas wishlist

My previous posts have all been blahhhsss..forgive me. Ive been ranting on twitter these past days just because i cant attach photos here, basically because the ipad has not accorded me with such liberty. The desktop is destroyed and my laptop gone, thus pinagtitiisan ang tablet na to! But alas, today is my lucky day! I was able to sneak out my brother's playbook *evil grin* it is time to have this post up.

The tendency of blog posts done in all text can be boring at times. I know because i feel that way too. Blogs are supposed to be fun, visually appetizing and spontaneous. So here, the list is, well as said in the title, my christmas wishlist. My eyes have been feasting on these items for the past months now. Time to unravel the earthly side of me. As if. I love daphne osena to bits. I admire her in every aspect. She is after all my life peg. Meanwhile, i love my bed. Who doesn't? They say you spend one fifth of your life in your bed. It is only appropriate that we give it extra care and affection. Did i say, i have always been a fan of hotel beds? And what better way to do it than dressing your bed with daphne linens :) quite pricey though... But napag-iiponan yan.

The convenience of having a bag and carrying your little girl can be achieved when you have this. You want to be totally hands-free when your kid is around, and a crossbody bag can give you just that. I love the plaid print of this one. And ralph lauren.

I am obsessed with watches. I have four of them in my closet, this being the fifth :) well, technically this shouldnt find its way in the list now since the bestfriend has already fulfilled this. Awww! Skagen is class. At how pretty and dainty this looks, i cant describe more.

How's my day, in six items

1. The househelper greeted my day informing me she is leaving us this week. as with all my other househelpers who worked and left the household, it made me sad. i have always developed a good relationship with them, and separation anxiety attacks me everytime this happens.

2. Brought sof to her pedia, and she's in anti-biotics again :( her coughing has been persistent for two weeks now. hearing her bark with the phlegm is unbearable. hope the meds will serve its purpose this time.

3. I made mango float. i still have left over milk and cream from another dessert i prepared a week ago, and i thought why not make one. also, im inviting my bestfriend for lunch tomorrow, perfect!

4. Passed by michael, a close friend of mine, at their store this afternoon. instant random chitchats of buzz here and there. he is a good source of what's brewing in surigao, in terms of business most especially. intsik obviously! hahaha and ohhh.. he reminded me it's december na!

5. Almost got killed today. the tricycle where i was almost got swept by a hauler as were crossing the intersection. good thing the tricycle driver was able to steer the tricycle to the left just when we were about to hit the truck. whewww! close is an understatement.

6. Watching the evening news saddened me. reports and images on the destruction caused by typhoon pablo left me in despair. too much damage and loss of lives.

on invitations and rsvp

i honestly don't understand why some people do not respond to invitations. when an important event is to be held, normally the host sends out invites to inform the people concerned of the said affair. may it be sent thru formal invitation cards, e-invites, or even just thru a text message, an inivitation should be honored, thus the favor of a reply is expected.

you are invited primarily because you are an important person, and being that, the host wants to share with you that special moment --this, you should realize. thus, the option of not going should not be entertained, or you do not say you're tired or just having a bad day. save your lame excuses mister! you should learn how to value. in some circumstances though, say your schedule does not permit you, the host will truly understand if you cant't go. the word here is, you should inform ahead. you see, your slot has a price. meaning, the host spends for you, you become part of the budget and you don't like it when your resources are put to waste, do you?

so there, the biggest favor we can ever extend is to learn to respond to invitations. it saves us the money, the effort, and the expectations. today, you're a guest... tomorrow, you become the host. and who wants empty parties? remember, what goes around comes around.
